Freelander 1 Towing Ability Pretty Impressed..

Since I got hippo back on the road, I have been called out twice to bail the inlaws out with their VW Transporter... both times had to Tow it back...that thing must weigh a few tonn.. but the hippo didnt hesitate to pull her... 2nd time was today back from a fete we did.. turns out his feul pump is playing up .
Oh well i was impressed anyhow ..besides almost getting whiplash...lol.. father inlaw's braking skills are much to desire LOL...

Hippo's are good at towing tratter's anorl.

Not had the pleasure in towing them yet LOL...

do not for get if the car you are towing engine is not running then it will be hard to put on a lot of brake pressure I tow a bog communications mast which is upto the weight and there are no problems,
