Help, does anyone have a towbar for a 1983 110 defender pickup, for sale..some unsavoury character stole the one off mine..
If its before 1990 its not a Defender. It may be a 110,but its definitely not a Defender. If you listen you will learn alot here,I have.Nope it's definatley a 110 Defender, registered in 1983.. I have the original type log book as well.. all the mot's have 110 Defender on them as well. It's an A reg, and the number plate is the origanal one from first registration..
Probably a previous owner put Def badges on.Some people think a new model is always better.Photo would be good.AFAIK the tow bars are the same.OK then..I can only go on what I read on the vehicle and what I am told. Why is it badged as such? would it be down to the previous keeper or purely just known by the wrong name? I will add a photo of it in all it's battered glory, for everyones viewing pleasure.
Thanks for your information though. Does this mean a Defender tow bar would not fit then?
And the 110 wasn't released till 1984
Doesnt look too silly at £800 anorl!Does your machine look like this then Dave?Yep but that one I linked is a late 1983 car. In any case, it was the Ninety that was released after the One Ten. The One Ten was released in 1983 but the Ninety wasn't until 1984. On the Haynes workshop manual it even says "Suitable for vehicles 1983 - 2007".

Seen the price of sheds lately.I could keep my chickens in it.Not going to drive to Wales thonon original slitty engine, no mot or tax, he's a dealer and says it needs work...it'll be a shed. Vastly overpriced i'd say!!

Sorry for diverging Langers.Ahem, read the thread chaps - I wasn't recommending he buy it - the man only wants a tow ball! I was just giving an example of a 1983 One Ten.
