The heating system was never altered at all when the commercial versions were built, so the ducting to the rear passenger area is still in place and functional. Its a bit pointless on commercials though as instead of heating rear passengers feet, it just heats the wee space behind the front seats under the load floor.
Slide the front seats as far forward as they go and tip them forwards - have a look underneath and you will see the ducts. Plug these up with something.....duct tape is good :rolleyes: ... I found this noticeably improved airflow to the front footwells.
 
Thanks mate. very useful! i always saw them while i was working on him but never tried to see if the air flow through, thought maybe they were disconnected

so far have only used that cubbyhole-under-loadspace-floor to stash tools and a power-pack .. .. never thought to look for heating /ac ducts
