Going to put a new timing belt on. just wanting to know if there. Are any belt kits i should stay away from and a good belt kit to use. Thanks

Dayco are the OEM version, and are what i fit to my 200tdi. I would consider getting the parts needed individually so you can ensure they are all decent OEM quality, rather than buy a complete kit from a dubious manufacturers. Belts, Idlers, tensioners, and seals all need to be decent quality, the various gaskets can be aftermarket without making much difference.

I have done the belt on my 2004 300TDi twice now and used a Bearmach kit both times.
The kit contains everything needed including a Dayco belt and that paper penny washer.
