Hi all, getting near time to do my timing belt for first time, is this a good kit, it say OEM quality but i do NOT want britpart in this area....
DA1300 300 TDI TIMING KIT | shop | www.lrseries.com | L. R. Series
I've got the pins & viscouos fan spanner, i'm leaving the cooling system intact as i have aircon too, I will need to make a puller for the crank pulley but i have been given the layout of the bolts so thats ok, any idea what size socket i need for the big nut on crank??
I will also be relapcing the external belts as the aircon one is just about fubarred.
I have read the guide on here too, very useful although i'm still highly dubious of using the starter to crack the crank bolt I would prefer a locking tool and long extension on 3/4 socket.
