Tight Nuts on Starter Motor

Anyone got any tips for tight Nuts on the starter motor?

I need to check the solenoid but can't get the thing out.

Socket with long breaker bar? Or ring end of combination spanner on the nut and another ring spanner on the open jaw to add leverage?

Most starters have a nut thats a toss to get to normally the top inner one, I just use a socket and a few extensions to get just the right length, then a decent ratchet to crack it off, when refitting it push the nut into the socket with some bog roll, the paper will make the nut a tight fit so it does not drop out when struggling to get the sod to line up.

Tried a long socket and as much leverage as possible. I think I need some kind of solvent to loosen up 20 years of grime around them.
