Throttle body coolant Grrrrrrrrrrr

I've changed the throttle body coolant part twice now and cannot seal it as its leakxing again. Whats the best way to seal it or would it be better just to take the two pipes off and connect them up with a bit of slim copper pipe.

It's a feature, I believe, to prevent the throttle body Iceing up. In our climate it's not necessary so I wouldn't worry about by-passing it.
