Did a search but can't find an answer.

I replace my P gasket today. All went well but I want to know what the torque settings should be on the three bolts that go through the gasket to the block.

The Haynes manual only give you settings for the water pump bolts but I wondered if the thee bolts into the block should be a bit tighter as they are going into the block?

Any help appreciated!

Thanks fellas. Yeah I realise there is a possibility of snapping them hence the request for torque settings! I did them up to 25Nm so looks like I have done it correctly. I figured that the top ones screw into the alloy casing behind the water pump so they didn't want to be too tight but the bottom three are into a steel head block so could be a little tighter as they are the ones that compress the P gasket.

Anyway let's see if she leaks today after a good run out!

kwakerman would you please tell me which manual you have there and where I can get a copy? Looks much more detailed than my Haynes manual!

Thanks
