Hi,
I've been trying to suss out where my oil leak was originating from - 200tdi.
The leak was dripping off 2 bolts (furthest to the rear) that hold the sump pan up and was spraying backwards onto the propshafts, handbrake drum etc
I followed this up and found that my oil filter was also dripping oil.
Followed this up further finding that my lift pump was also soaked in oil.
Followed this higher and I'd got to this.
Now, is this the rocker cover gasket and the two half moons that are leaking? Could it possibly be the head gasket?
Further more, could it be the items that are arrowed (not too sure of the name and whether or not these could leak oil as the oil could just be puddling there).
Have a look and see what you think. I'm off to Paddocks in a sec, so prob buy the offending seal/gasket then...along with a 19J temp. sender
