Most other soft-roaders have had 2wd options for years. Most others are switchable 2/4wd.

I think it's stupid personally. One may as well buy an estate car.

I can't remember where I heard this, but I think there's a new EU requirement that requires manufacturers to produce a car which is environmentally friendly. (relatively speaking) As a result, a number of stupid or pointless cars have been produced. If this is true, it may explain the real purpose behind this car. I cannot remember the full details about this, so I'm starting to wonder whether or not I dreamt it. Can anyone clarify?
 
wore some of the early series one's only 2wd ive seen a raf one that was i think ..so not the first landy 2wd ...
