How the FOOK did I miss those?

:doh::doh::doh:

Thanks guys. Once my new super-awesome-mods-allowed-3000 insurance policy is active I may buy some and get bigger tyres and a lift. Got to do the tyres anyway so might as well investigate it.

Will.

Do they rub? Have you got a lift kit? Wheel spacers?

2" lift is a must. Camber bolts. The wheels have enough offset not to need spacers. If you use standard wheels you would need them to clear the spring seats. You have to mod the inner wings for steering clearance cos of the lift. No rubbing. Very close tho:D they're as big as you can go other option is 235/70/16 which is same dia but a smidge wider?!?!

Ok cool, I've got a 2" lift and camber bolts but I havnt modded the inner wings??? Have you got any pics of what you have done? I've got 235/65/15 and I've noticed sometimes they have rubbed but I was just gonna get some big spacers :)

Spacers may stop it depends how big they are? If you jack the front up and put the steering on full lock the track rod end catches the wing. I've beaten the lip down with a hammer but I may cut it and weld it to look neater. It's an mot fail when it catches:(

You need to be able to go lock to lock with the wheels off the floor without it catching, that's what they do on an mot!
