Test door lock actuator?

Hi, after my previous thread this week ( both rear doors not locking or unlocking with central locking) i have taken off the door card to have a look around, and have found the connector, and looked on rave for the pin connections and circuit diagrams and it seems to have power in the right places at the right time lol, but just to be certain is there a way to check the door lock actuators before i go out and buy 2 new ones? Are they 2 wire motors?

Nope, i wish it was that simple lol, theres 5 wires, 2 are for superlock, 2 for lock and an earth. I think the motors have failed, but it just seems wierd that both sides would suddenly give up the ghost like that, Sam

can you put some sort of motor in line to make sure there is a good amperage along with the volts. sometimes it will show 13.8 v but put under load it drops to near zero

Yeah i would like to try this, and i have a spare universal 2 wire actuator i could test with, but i dont know which pins on the connector i should connect the motor to? Thanks, Sam
