Does anyone know if the viscous fan coupling / clutch can be changed on a TD5 or do I have to get a new unit complete with fan blades? If anyone has ditched a known working viscous unit in favour of an electric fan ( or nothing at all ) and wants to sell it please let me know.

Yes you do.... and dont buy cheap aftermarket cos they used to loose the blades which are then hurting the radiator or cause more serious trouble
