td5 turbo on a 200tdi

hey guys,
i'm thinking about a Turbo upgrade for my 200tdi. i know about several Turbos, allisport vnt or hybrid Turbos.

But i'm actually wondering what a td5 Turbo will do to an 200tdi engine. i've heard several times about this mod, but not seriously. i know there must be some few other mods, td5 intercooler and a adaptor flange to fit the td5 Turbo onto the 200tdi Defender manifold. Oil pipes need to be modified and exhaust as well.

Is there anybody who did this mod allready or knows some Details about it??

the only Trouble i've got with this mod is, that the td5 engine has few power at low reving. so i think this might be getting even worse with a 4cyl engine...

anybody any ideas? :'D

Well it's made just need to fabricate exhaust down pipe and feed and return pipes

Dave Marsh There's a VNT unit used on VAG V6 Tdi's that bolts straight up to a 200 Disco manifold.
I forget which one though.

Im not sure its worth the effort as the td5 will make 21psi boost with a boost controller and the tdi one wont be far behind, if you do some searching theres some info out there on people who have fitted a vgt one which was meant to be good, but quite a lot of work involved,
