Hi there, I have just got my 1st landy, a Disco 2 TD5.
It is great, I just have a few questions for you guys and girls.. It has been converted to coil spring and lifted, i am asuming 2", as it still has anti-roll bars? It has also fitted 31" tyres, which look great. However, they do stick out further than the arches. -This in its self does not worry me to much as I could just cover the tops with some kind of rubber sticking out from the arch, its just after looking at the price of D2 TD5 wheel bearings, I dont really fancy replacing all 4! How long should i expect bearings to last?
The wheels are mounted on 40mm alloy spaces, as the PCD looks to be much bigger than standard? Is there any way of fitting these tyres to different rims, so no need for the spacer? Or will it foul on the body/chassis?
If 31" tyres will not fir without these rims and spacers, what are the bigest tyres that will fit without spacers? Also the rear arches seem to be uncut, and dont scrape?
