td5 discovery

hi, looking at a td5 discovery tomorrow, anyone got any advise on what to watch out for, areas prone to corrosion etc. got a 110 td5 csw xs at present so know the engines are good- will be selling this soon once ive sorted all the advisorys etc. any information on the discovery though will be most appreciated.

Bodywork is usually very good, chassis is prone to serious corrosion particularly at rear. Thinner gauge steel was used to manufacture the chassis to keep the weight down, than on the previous model and thinner than defenders of the same vintage. I really like the last fully loaded ones made, although sunroofs will probably leak.

looked at the discovery, looked good inside and bodywork good but chassis like swiss cheese!

gave that one a miss but a range rover caught my eye- 05 reg,seems a lot of car for money -any thoughts?
