TD5 disco problem

Hi, need help please the wife was driving the disco the other day when hot water shot out onto her feet from behind the centre console where the air vent is for your feet any ideas as to what may have happened and whether is a big job to fix al help appreciated..

Heater matrix has gone probably..... or the o-rings. Have a look for threads relating to that and you'll find more info - seems a bit of a pain, involving lots of dash removal...
