Unsure wether this is correct place to post but here it goes.

For some strange reason when I first start my TD5 defender (Year 2005) up for a good 5-10 miles it’s really sluggish. Struggles to get the 30 MPH Says there no matter which gear I put it in. Then after 5-10 miles it starts pulling like a train again.

Turn it off for 5 mins and same thing reoccures.

There’s no warning lights appearing on the dash.

I recently serviced it 3 weeks ago and put a diesel clean fluid in the tank.

This problem has only started happening last few days.

Any help would be much appreciated as to what the problem could be.

Not sure to be honest I just bought the car 5 weeks ago.

I’ve checked the ecu wires to make sure there was no oil on them.

They looks nice a clean.

It still has EGR on could this effect it?

First thing to do is get it on a diagnostic test. You can easily waste more money chasing a fault than the cost of a diagnostic test.
