Hello,
I'm sure this thread is going to be target for a lot of humor from the Hardcore Land Rover owners but until my Freelander's doors don't fall off I'll have to keep it.

it's all about LR part number LLN100140L,
#18 in this diagram
Allbrit LAND ROVER & MG ROVER Ersatzteil Katalog

this part is common to Td5 and Lseries engines (who would say trators and gaylanders have something in common inside the engine bay)

the cam cover breather is connected to one of these valves which is also connected to the air intake, between MAF and turbo.
on my freelander this valve is always seeping oil into the airflow and I think this is the main reason, more than a Turbo leak, for the excess of oil inside the intercooler, what can I do to keep this from happening?
I would like to try something easier before having to recondition the turbo.

thanks in advance
Miguel Baptista

on another forum I've been advised to fit a oil cath can, does anyone have one fitted?
any advise or feedback on this matter would be welcome.
