Td 5 discovery not starting after head gasket change

Hiya anyone have any ideas?

We have a td5 discovery ( 2000)
Anyway before we got the mobile mechanic to do the headgasket it would start fine ... no problem even though water was in oil ......

Anyway had the headgasket changed and a recon head put back on ......

But now it will turnover but not fire up

Tried purging the system quite a few times ... tried a bit of easy start wich it will splutter

Even tried towing it of but no luck

Any idears please ?

Did the mobile mechanic not start it up and finish the job you paid for?...he should know why it wont start...better asking the gurus in the Discovery section...

Is it timed correct?
