TC is a sales gimmick, you only get a very short period before an overheat occurs, this is detailed in the owners handbook.

there is any option to disable that overheating message and to block the TC?

If it's two wheel traction control do more than 30 MPH, if it's four wheel do more than 62.5 MPH. Otherwise you are stuck with it. Four wheel TC can be turned off by switching ignition on and pressing brake pedal ten times within five seconds for service reasons, but will turn back on at five MPH.:D:D:D

I'm not sure on your driving style but if you are very aggressive of road you will cause the TC to kick in continuously. In the small amount of ofroading I have done I have not found the TC kicking in very often only when its particularly slippery.

Maybe some better tyres may help you maintain grip levels so the TC doesn't have to work as hard?

+1 to that:)

You can't, it shuts off for good reason.
Fit a locking rear diff from Ashcrofts.

Or Kamlockers.

I'm a little undecided which is best. Kamlockers are electric and I'd be worried about electrics but Ashcroft use air and compressors fail and airline get knocked and leak. Which is more reliable?!
