hello

I have recently noticed that the TC light and the hill descent light both come on when I brake. If I’m just crawling along in a traffic jam and only lightly touch the pedal they stay off, but any other braking they come on in amber for a few seconds then go off again.

They aren’t on at start up.

Brakes still work fine, and don’t feel any different just the lights coming on.

I’ve never used traction control on the car I know it’s something to do with the yellow button but no idea how you turn it on or off, could it be I’ve accidentally switch TC on or a fault?

Assuming it’s still ok to drive like this

Thank you

The brake light switch would be the first place I'd looking.

This would almost prove it's the brake light switch.

The yellow button is to activate the Hill Decent Control (HDC). Traction Control (TC) is fully automatic, and has no user controls.
