Hi All!

Just wondering if anyone has had any dealings with these gents before? They have a good webpage, and look very professional, I just haven't heard much about them!

I'm looking at putting a 1.2 transfer box in my td5, and it may as well be a recon one as I font want problems biting me in the ass down the line.

As standard they uprate several things when reconing.

Having heard a fair few mixed reviews about Ashcroft Transmissions recently, I'd like to go somewhere else. Any thoughts or reviews on these guys? Cheers! :)

Never used them myself, can't afford to, but have a couple of mates used them for recon gearboxes ... and they reckon they're ace!

They also do the slick-shift addition to the defender gearstick to make it more precise and easier to use and having driven a defender kitted with one I'd say they got it spot on!

I'd use them if I needed to.

Thats great Paul, just what i wanted to hear! I saw a small article about the slickshift in LRO and it does look very well engineered! Price wise thats why i only want to do the transfer box, my mainbox could do with some work in the next few years, but if i drive accordingly and change gear with 'feeling', (syncro's are slightly worn) its perfectly fine and unnoticeable. Thanks mate!

Bought the 1.2 transfer box final drive kit from Ashcroft's along with a new DMF flywheel and clutch kit. Great price for the flywheel and clutch kit, £400ish
instead of ~£1400 from the stealer. The parts were Valeo same as the OEM stuff that they replaced. 1.2 is great in my 110 aswell. A+ for Ashcroft's from me,
Mike.
