Anyone know the trick to undo the nearside level plug on the swivel housing? On the offside it is raised out a bit so an spanner can go on, not on the nearside!

Use a socket......yes I know it is a square, but an appropriate socket used carefully not to round the corners should do it.

The threads on my 110 are BSP, I expect they all are.
I swopped mine out for cap head plugs (Allen key).

I agree a socket and then replace with an Allen bolt for future ease.

That's the "look at what you could have won" illustration... Plenty of plus gas on that bastªrd, if it snaps In there, it's drilling time!!!
Try both a metric and imperial socket before committing to the pinch.

Just a thought as I don't remember the sizes, is it possible to use a 1/4" socket extension bar on it so you have a square hole going onto the square of the plug? and then use a spanner on the end of that to turn it?
