Swing out spare wheel carrier

Does anyone know of a swing out spare wheel carrier that will swing separately from the door? I need something that will clear access for hitching up my caravan as the spare is in the way

It would help if you said what car it is?

If its for a Defender then there are 100s from £120 to £800

Sorry, it’s a 2009 defender hard top, all the ones I have looked at swing out with the door but I need something that will swing out separately

Towing a caravan with a Defender then consider a Dixon Bates shock link which apart from improving the towing moves the tow ball out by about 2" An Alko extended tow ball also gains more room. Also remove the big plastic handle from the caravan hitch.

Otherwise the swing away wheel carrier without opening rear door would be the Nakatanenga pick up wheel carrier or the Safari Equip version.

However you might find them annoying accessing rear door without the caravan on as it would be a 2 stage opening.

Another solution open rear door and have something soft to protect door paint work if it catches on caravan jockey wheel.

The situation probably doesn't apply to you but I bought an SWC that was independent opening for a 12 seat safari many years ago & then realised that the device prevented the rear door from being opened from the inside, leaving any rear seat passengers with no quick means of escape in an emergency.
I ran my concerns past the supplier & unsurprisingly never received a response.
