Hello, I'm very new to this and I'm in a bit of bother. Got a 1999 TD5. I'm down in Hayle, Cornwall on holiday. The ACE warning light came on last night, the alarm thing goes for two mins then shuts up. The Landy drives fine and I was thinking of driving it back to Shefield, I figure it being holidays still I'll not get to a garage anyway.
Any ideas?

DP landrovers on Bodmin Moor. 01208 821689. Pop in on your way past. It's at the top of the hill justafter the A30 goes into single lanes with an overtaking lane up the hill out of Bodmin, you turn into the layby at the top and take the little road alongside it for about 200 yds - right on the A30. Very helpful.

Many thanks for your advice. If all goes according to plan, I'll drop my girlfriend off in Turo monday morning and pop up to see these folk you have suggested. Meantime, I'll try not to use it I guess.
Cheers.

Hi there. We had the AA fella out, he said keep the reservoir topped up with fluid or it will run dry and strip the pump. I was thinking of dropping my girlfriend off in Truro first thing monday morning to work, then driving up to you guys at D.P. I think it needs a section of pipe replacing. Is this a doable job? I've got to be back into truro by 4pm to pick girlfriend up to either drive back to sheffield or have the AA transport us and Landy back.
I realise this would be a big 'ask'.
Sorry if I'm coming over as some dumb newbie type smuck!!

Hi, thanks for the advice. I think I'm going to struggle to get the job done in one day but I'll pop into Riders and see what they say, might make more sense than to drive up to bodmin with a leaky ACE system. Looking likely that we'll be taking a very long ride home on the back of a transporter..................
Cheers.

Guys, not wanting to sound ungrateful, but just a bit of honest advice and if you reckon Riders or whoever can get the job done?

**** off BoB, Moore's are the biggest rip-off merchants going. They're worse than the main stealers.
They told my neighbour that his 300TDi engine was fooked and wanted £1000 to fit a 2nd hand replacement. All that was wrong with it was a bent pushrod - robbin bastids.

they is honest, not spax inbreeds that cant see straight,....

they priced a job like you do and stick to it.

Mick is not the cheapest but hes trustworth for short notice quality work.along with riders there both ok.

If ya get to know Dick Pull for a cash mot thats up to you...
