I am thinking about going to the Sorry (Sodbury) Sortout
at Newbury Showground to-morrow is it worth a 2 hr trip
there and back ...........

Think its more like 'landy jumble'. But I'm sure they'll be sum new stuff. Apparently theres gonna be a 'topless bacon butty' lady makin the sandwiches for all yu's men to oggle at. Surely thass sold it to yer?!!

Would anyone thats going be so kind as to get an idea of what a pair of door cards are going for. just so I've got a vague idea of what I'm expected to pay at Driffield next month. Ta.

I did'nt see any. I promise I wus lookin. Did'nt get wot I wanted either. The way stuff was priced, I reckon If you found some they'd be £10-£20. Sorry I were'nt no help!

I dint neether. Whole (reasonably) good Deepender doors were going fer £35/45, so HBs prob' aboot right fer door cards.

A lot of trim fer sale wuz pretty ratty tho.

Saw one pristine Series door bottom fer £25, bluddy wish I'd had it away now! Woulda annoyed me having one good door & one ratty one tho'!

Q fer trying anyhow. Those doors were cheap compared to Ebay. Don't spose you know if the lift up handle type doors will fit the 90 made originally fitted with the pushbutton type doors?

Yup, they fit - done it on me last 90. Yer need the striker plate as well and suitable spacers (which yer can bodge) to get it in the right place. Personally, I prefer lift-up handles - don't seem a real landy wiv poncy push-buttons. Also, lift-ups dunt git wiped out by passing trees.
