Hi Guys and Gals

I am currently stripping and cleaning a pair of SU's which I will be fitting to my 110, it's currently on Strombergs.

I want to see some pics of the linkages etc on SU's. Can some of you peeps with SU's please very kindly take some pics of front and back of yours and post them here?

I would greatly appreciate your help

cheers

Confused, previously I've asked the best choice and SUs were the clear winner!

Strombergs, I've been told, are inefficient and troublesome. Mine leak fuel, one of the diaphragms sticks and they only start with loads of choke.

SU's seem nice and simple in comparison.

Thoughts?

strombergs i think, and they was modified from the start of the suffix F engine and a different type of modified zenith- stromberg was introduced from enjun number 355-42953f

You know your stuff lol, I am nearly that bad with old BMW's!

Guess it was strombergs then , they looked nice and worked well but I only drove it for 10 mins!

SU's once set up correctly are superb Strombergs may give better performance but you WILL be re tuning them every so often. SU's set up right will be perfect

Glad to hear good SU feedback, I've had them on minis, spitfire and herald and they have been great, piece of **** to work on too.

I've stripped and rebuilt the first one and all seems well, will do the other one this week.

The swap looks like it will be pretty straightforward, just need to figure out how to adapt the existing choke setup to the SUs
