Stuck in gear

Hi, i'm having a bit of a problem with my Series 3 Landy.
She will go into a gear fine and i depress the clutch to move to a higher ghear but it seems to be stuck, if i brake (clutch still down) it judders to a stop,and stalls, i then have to remove my foot from the clutch an press it down a gain to change it into second. Sometimes i even have to pull the engine cutoff just to get the engine to stall this only really happens when i am in a queue or reversing off my drive. but i twould hate to hit someone in the back becaus ei couldn't stop the car from moving foreward. Any Sugestions??

Have you thought that it may be the clutch is out of adjustment. If the clutch is not clearing the pressure plate properly it would be hard to get in and out of gear. If you have any knowlage of motors adjust the clutch to get it to clear. I also had the same problem with mine and this was the problem. Need anymore help please ask...

i have to say i agree with miniman it do sound like yer cluitch is gubbed maybe it needs bleeding . slob
