strange clicking

hi all, hope you are well, hopeing for some help: i have a problem, i am getting a noise at low speed, say 20mph to stop, it sounds like it is from the n/s/f, a sort of clicking at regular intervals, it's like there is something catching!!??? i have just changed the discs & pads as i thought this may be it as the n/s/f disc was slightly warped, however, it is still there, there is no play in the wheel bearings & all looked fine on a visual inspection, has anyone got any ideas please, have looked on here, but don't really know what to search for, nothing seems to be coming up that sounds right, thanks, in advance, martyn

Rust flaking off the brake backplate can catch on the disk.

have u tried jacking it up and spinning the wheels one by one to see if the noise will show up

I had a similar clicking noise, changed both the anti-roll bar drop links and it stopped the "click"

hi all, thanks for the replies, think i will try drop links as cleaned back plates when i changed the discs, typically, its stopped again driving me insane

Just a thought.....have a good check of the tyres

if its on full lock when its clicking could be a worn cv joint

Mind you....as you are shifting your body weight to the one side it could be your HIP

had this on front of mine turned out to be crack in the toothed ring that the abs sensor pushes in against in the hub( sorry brain gone dead can't think of the proper name for da toothed ring) got new cv joint fitted complete with ring and never had noise again

thanks again peeps, think i'll have the wheel off again the w/end & have a good root around hopefully be something simple, damn thing still quite lol

I had the sensor stick in a bit and did catch on the "ladder" ring pulled the sensor out put a little grease on and no noise
