Quick one...

want to get the ehaust on my 90 straight through, same as the disco.
But as the 90 has a disco engine in it, not sure if the exhaust is the same? I would assume so, as no matter then engine in it, the exhaust has to be routed through the same places.. but just wanted to double check before I buy the straight through pipe...

this is whats under my 90...

from the downpipe, over the cross member

I'm thinking of fiting this one...
Land Rover 90 Straight Through Exhaust Middle Pipe on eBay (end time 04-Mar-10 22:14:33 GMT)

then after that, cut the back box, weld a pipe there and then weld some bends to get it through the side

anyway, just wanted to check i've choosen the right part

same as i had under mine, i dint buy any special bits tho, just a 4 mtr length of 3" pipe, and reducer for manifold , cut and weld, passes MOT every time :)

With less back pressure i can see that there may be a little more power...but i can't see how the economy would improve...i would have thought it would be worse..i'd like to be convinced, if so i'll buy one myself..

90truckcab...is that cannock chase in the background on the hardtop/pick-up thread??

dunno about fuel economy, iv not noticed it change, but yes, slightly more power,

;) yes cannock chase, pic taken from off a449, few houses , before yer get to weston downs, and the big estate behind ,
