whilst popping to the shop the other day, waiting to overtake parked cars, with no warning the clutch stuck to the floor.slight moment of panic and frenzied pumping brought it back.anyone experienced this?Obv i am not mechanical at all!ideas please before the garage gets a ring!def 90 TD5.

Could be your Clutch Master Cylinder on the way out. Mine started feeling Sticky on a long drive up country, after a few hours of driving, the top of the clutch went sloppy and the bite point on the floor.

Check your fluid level to see if its leaking. Mine wasnt leaking out, but the seal had gone. I replaced both the Master and Slave at the same time as if one goes, often the other wont be far away.

thanx, fluid was the first thing checked but alls good there.hasnt happened since but slightly paranoid now, maybe the trip from oxford to sussex didnt help?!going in this week to get a few things sorted so will c wot happens x
