well james and i decided to have a play and see if we could get to the bottom of this misfire,
thought i would keep it nice and simple and go through it step by step,
been meaning to clean out the inlet manifold since fitting the egr blank,
on removing it found it was chocked with crud, then checked every house, plug, connector etc, then notice on the hose that goes to a t piece from the egr valve looked a bit worn, on further inspection found there was a hole in it, put a new piece in, and put the old peice of hose next to the new one,
leaving the in,et manifold in soak in engine degreaser overnight, and also removed the rubber seals in case the engine cleaner destroyed the seals,
also want to get some 80 mm air inlet hose as thats perished , dont know if u can get some universal hose along with some new clips or have to buy a land rover one and also some new hoses think there around the 50 - 60 mm diameter, see what the local stealer want for a new set
was wondering with the hole in the hose how that would effect the performance, would that cause the rough tickover etc please
oh well one step at a time and just thought before i started messing around with the fuel etc, thought i would start with the basics etc,
