hello i am thinkin of doin a service with oil, air, fuel and power steering change !!

i no how to do the oil,air and fuel....but
what is the best way to refill the steering ???
the reason i am changin the pas fluid is that it is very dark red and now the cold mornings are coming when turnin the steering i dnt have power steering straight away ... but a drive 200 yards i have.??

this has been doin it for the last couple of years when my father had the car but he didnt do out as in summer its fine, but i would like to sort it !

so any advice would be great on gettin rid of air etc etc

Remove the pipe connections at the box or reservoir there isn't a drain plug for the box and drain all the old fluid (you won't remove it all) reconnect and refill, bleed the system by turning the steering lock to lock and holding there for a few seconds with the engine running.

I don't think my power steering fliuid has ever been change, don't think it's even part of a service shedule may have been done when it goes for a garage service who knows:)

Don’t forget there is a bleed nipple on top of the steering box, I undid the nipple on mine and kept topping up the reservoir with fresh fluid while someone turned the steering for me. This was after changing the pump and I think I managed to replace most of the fluid this way. I got through about 4 litres of fluid.

But don’t make the mistake that I did, no fluid came from the nipple so I kept unscrewing it until it shot past my ear along with a jet of fluid, just undo it a bit and give it time for the air to escape, then the fluid will follow.

Find a nice piece of clear pipe to fit the nipple so you can see the fluid then you will know when the new fluid is through the system.
