I've got a leak & the drop arm bush has worn so much i cant press the top cup out of the arm, on my 6 bolt steering box.
I've got a 4 bolt disco box in the shed.

So my questions are:
4 bolt
Can i just swop the boxes over or is one metric & the other imperial?

6 bolt
Do i just cut the defender arm off & put a disco one on (i've got a sumo bar & all the bits) & rebuild all the seals

Sometimes if you can put the arm upside down on an anvil, or in a big vice, you can cut the cup with a sharp cold chisel and a hammer.
If not, or if you CBA, just change the arm.

Cheers, I'll have a look when i take it off. If not i just swop the whole box

Cheers guys all bolted in.
Just need a left hand nut for the sumo bar to turn up to finnish it off
