Starting problems

Hi,

Completely new to here but hoping for a bit of help..

We've recently acquired a beaut of a landy.. She's a series III with an Mod diesel engine. Only problem is that starting her up is a two man job. One person to turn her over and another to spray the air filter.
Any suggestions how to fix this? Any help/advice would be very welcome.

Once it's started is it OK for a while? If so I'd be looking for an air leak or a weak lift pump.

It is.. You can turn the engine off and it will restart in about an hours time maybe but not after that.

Which engine have you got? Put a picture up if you want. Hunt the air leak
