Starter turns slowly

Hope someone can help,my Series 3 2.25 petrol have a new battery reconed starter and alternator,but when I start it,the starter barely turns over,luckily it starts quickly,any advice?thanks

EARTH STRAPS!!!!!
Between engine and chassis, and chassis to battery ....
BIG ones, clean ends, tight bolts ....

Don't ask more till this is done!

If it aint the battery or starter motor, then the only other thing is a bad connection. Check all of them to the starter and all earth straps. If any terminals are getting hot, then thats the one.

A jump lead from battery earth to starter motor body is a useful way of testing to see if it the earth cable connections.

There should be a short earth lead from one of the starter mounting bolts to the chassis. This often gets missed, but is important.
