Hey all, hope you can help..

I think my starter is starting to play up. Hopefully if I tell you what has been happening someone might be able to confirm!

Heat the glo plugs up for the usual time, turn key starter motor turns over but sounds as though is is dying, either eventually gives up or it fires up right at the end. Should say this only happens when firing up one the 1st occassion, if you get it going and take it out, leave it then go back to it say an 30 mins later it starts up no worries. If it doesn't start I connect jump leads, it fires up straight away... Even when the landy doesnt start battery still showing between 13-14 v.

Any ideas?

Still possible to be battery, get it tested at battery shop under load.

Thanks, I will put it on charge and see if it holds the charge..
Only bought it 9 months ago, gel gattery

It does sound like an earth problem , could even be the battery with a **** cell in it , only way to check it is to have it load tested .
