Going to put roof rails on my Freelander 2. Want to spray them red. Know anywhere local to Warrington that would do this please? My usual body work bloke shied away. Didn't think the paint would stick.

Hello RockChick and welcome to the forum. This is the Introduce Yourself section where it is requested peeps post a bit about themselves and their vehicle before asking for help and advice.
There are at least 2 people on here who think freelanders are the best vehicles ever to travel the roads. The Freelander section is very useful https://www.landyzone.co.uk/forum/land-rover-freelander.9/ You might want to post your query there or in the relevant geographical section however to catch the eye of someone in Warrington.

Thanks for the info. Was unsure how else to do a post.......never used social media before. Heard so many bad things about FB, etc that I didn't want to get involved However, this seems a really interesting site, so here goes
I am 56 and have finally got a Landy. It is a 2012 Freelander 2 TD4 XS with added spec. Only had her a month, but love it to bits already. I have a few Landy friends who sing their praises loudly. I always say buy British whenever possible. I also have goats and poultry, am a Churchwarden and am on more committees than you can shake a stick at. Generally just a mad, old bird. Hello!!!

Great I hope you enjoy. You might have seen the Livestock and Arable thread in the Anything Goes section. I'm sure people would be interested to hear about your experiences there too. Have fun with the Freelander:)

Like she sez^^^^^^^^^, we like farming pics! :)
Plenty of mad old birds on LZ!

And welcome to the forum! :)
Thanks for that. Will post some pics.
Have also found someone to do my colour-coding, as I now believe it to be called. They are in Warrington & a body shop, etc that I knew years ago. The place that fitted my towbar reminded me of them. Will post pics when it is done
Managed to attach a pic of Cheshire Steam Fair & one of my 6 week gosling.....GoswaldWP_20180716_09_21_36_Pro.jpg WP_20180715_14_44_45_Pro.jpg

Good eating come Xmas time. ( sorry if he is a pet, But used to pluck them for pocket money when I was a kid)

Are those ducklings in the cage ?

Cheers

Ducklings to the left, quail to the right. Yes, he is a pet. I love eating goose myself, but this one sits on my knee & sings to me. Also gives kisses.....very gently:)))

And good guard dogs...or should that be goose?

Bet your neighbours love you.

A mate of mine had a letter from the council about noise , seems his quail were too noisy.....:eek:, kept a certain neighbour up!!

Cheers

No complaints about the quail......yet. Cockerels have been moaned about over the years, but haven't got any at the moment. Rural area, rural pursuits........what do they expect? An environmental health officer once came round about a neighbour's septic tank & tried to get me to make a complaint about her cockerel at the same time!!!!! Kept asking was I sure it wasn't bothering me. Get a life:)
