hi guys, just wondering if any one can help me out. i bought a misc box of bits on ebay, after a couple of hella 'spotlight' relays that where in the box. when they turned up, they have five terminals, labelled 31, S, 56, 30 and P. there is a bit of a diagram on there but everyone ive shown it too soo far cant make sense of it and im not too sure how to post it anyway! can anyone tell me from the limited info if they are standard relays and what each terminal is? i have tried a few combinatations of terminals on this relay with my other spotlights that go through a normal four terminal relay and i cant seem to get them to light! when i took it apart it looks like a basic timer circuit in there as well as the coil but my knowledge of electronics is limited to say the least! anyone experienced these before?

cheers in advance!!

i would say that 31 is earth,56 is ignition feed or switching power/depends if its on its own switch or wired trough the main beam switch,30 is main power feed to spot lights and p goes to the spot lights, not sure what s is but it looks like another posotive switch feed could to be to flash or turn lights on there own so the relay has 2 funtions this the best i can do hope this helps.
