I rewired my spot lights today, these were already on the motor when i bought it but think they were wired up by Steve Wonder,
On taking the two main spots off the A Bar to change the bulbs i noticed the recess where the bulb goes in was coated up with silicone.
Obviously in an attempt to waterproof them.
The question is is this the best way to do it, is it absolutly needed or would drilling a hole in the bottom of the bowl just let out any water and providing i never switched them on when wet they would be ok.
What do you guys do?
