I have a 98 Disco 1, with an A bar (foam rubbery type), and two hella spots fitted. Last night I noticed that the offside lamp had become loose (probably jarred loose during my recent trip to Scotland).

The main bolt was regreased and nipped up no problem. The stay/adjuster, has however broken.

The stay is the small bracket that scres to the top rear of the lamp, and bends under the A bar to attach to the body, just beneath the bonnet lip.

Anyone any ideas where one can be obtained, or even what the proper 'name' of the part is? (If I get time, I'll post an image of the part in question.)

Cheers

The tops of my two spot lamps (Rally1000) touch the A bar so the lamps do not vibrate. But if u do require the steady stays then they are available from the go-faster accessary shops but they are normaly straight. The shape of yours may be a special.

Regards
