Disco 2 Specifically cheapest intercooler upgrade

Okay , I'll admit to knowing sod all about intercoolers except to them making intake air colder. Now is it a case of bigger is best? Will a truck intercooler be better than a standard one on my D2auto? Does anyone know of a cheap aftermarket variant? Would a revotec fan be worth the extra cost for the space?
