Hi guys, im after a LOVATO stepper motor/actuator for my disco, looked everywhere, finally tracked 1 down. tried askin him a few questions but the only prob is they guy on ebay dont speak english and i dont speak polish!!!

MY PART HAS WRITTEN ON IT:- "SONCEBOZ SWISS MADE 7217R009 3270" IF THATS ANY HELP.

Cheers guys! hes just emailed me back - IN ENGLISH:confused: and told me that "it is part of the universal and fits into any instalation" i know it looks slightly different to mine (screws instead of bolts etc) but the connector looks the same - from what i can tell from the pic. Do you think i should just bite the bullet and buy it? At the mo ive took the old part out and bridged it with a piece of pipe - the old one has an air leak.

Here is my old one, note how the air leak was made by a rubber/resin type componant failing and getting half sucked into the system (it should be in the plate behind the 2 philips screws, I was 1/2 temped to just cover the hole with something but get the impression its there for a reason, ie:-its designed to fail as so to stop worse damage further down the line, does anyone know if im correct? and what could cause it to fail in the 1st place - i want to sort the cause not just the remedy. Cheers.
