`Spare leads' - any idea what they are for?

Hi Guys,

Apologies in advance for my ignorance - but I've found 3 `spare leads' that dont seem to be connected to anything in the nearside rear of the engine compartment (see photo - two have been tied up with a yellow tie and another can be seen to the right of the attached picture). Anyone any idea what they are for and why they are loose? Also I've spotted an unconnected lead in either side of the windscreen wiper area - any idea what these are for as well?

Car is working fine but I want to know what the leads are there for!

heated front screen ? if you dont want them cut 'em off I'll use 'em

Usually the unconnected leads are from some optional features/enhancements whit which your car is not equipped. If everything is working fine dont bother with it....the wiring is the same for all models regardless the equipment. The ones from the windscreen aria seem to be from the heated windscreen.........if u have this one and it's working then i dunno.......but if u have'nt then u see what i've meant before

One thing the are not is heated screen plugs as the are positioned each end of the windscreen have two wires each and look like this.
