Southdown snorkel sizes...

Anyone know what diameter stainless pipe southdown supply with their snorkel kits? Also, where would one acquire the flexi hose from?
I plan on using their lovely wing mouldings which are £15 on ebay and i have a mushroom top filter. Just need the bit in between now!

Yeah they do, but you seen the price! I can just get some alu tube and use that, just thought it'd be easier if i knew the size to start with to work everything out like.

the southdown stainless pipe has a bend where it goes into the lovely wing moulding.

But what's the diameter of the pipe?

i also got that wing moulding but not clue how the wing moulding attaches to a flixi pipe inside the wing

I think the metal pipe is supposed to go right through the moulding, then your flexi pipe jubilee clips onto the steel pipe. Probably...

YES, it's just a bitch to get through... try some washing up liquid on it...

ok thanks, does anyone know how long the pipe is? can get it made up at work then, think it has a 15 degree bend in the pipe how far up?

Would welding 2 pipes at a 23 degree angle work by any chance so it'll go through?

got that bit sorted just got to measure how high it needs to go up(unless someone knows?) just making something for the top as i haven been able to get one of them cheap, will take some pics and show ya

What type of pipe are you using Mark? I'm thinking of using some 2.5" exhaust.

the 2.5 pipe i had was internal size so didnt fit im using 2 inch internal diameter stainless pipe with a short 45 bend in it. it goes through nice but is a little slack in the upper part but i am either gonna weld a lip on it or make a sleave its only like a mm or 2 so might get away with black mastic or something what ever looks best. doing it at work in between jobs so is abit slow going but free (well to me)
