Hello
I have a 2004 Td6 and had a problem a few months ago when the brake lights and ignition were on when the key and igniton were in position 0. I replaced the ignition switch and it was sorted for a few months.
The problem has returned, I've cleaned the switch and checked the voltages, in position 0, the only wire apart from the live wires that has voltage is the green wire to the unloader relay terminal 15. it has around 2-3v.
I've checked the LCM, the Black 15 pin plug is giving 12v at pin 10, when the black plug is disconnected, the brakes lights are off.
It has no relation to the brake pedal, it is still on when the ABS plug is disconnected, when i remove fuse 4 for the lights, it turns off for a second and comes back on, no change with fuse 9. When the ignition is in position 1 onward, the brake lights behave as they should
I have checked all the fuses, what do you guys recon, are there any inputs to the LCM that i should check or do you think the LCM is faulty?
Thanks
Edit: I cant access the LCM using allcoms and the following faults are shown
Instrument Panel Module Fault Reading Complete...
0xEF 0x00EF No TXU1 received from Transfer Box ECU.
0xF4 0x00F4 CAN bus fault - No ID.
0xF6 0x00F6 CAN bus fault - No DMER1 received from EMS ECU.
0xF8 0x00F8 CAN busfault - No DMER4 received from EMS ECU.
0x8C 0x008C Auxiliary sense incorrect.
Body Control Module Fault Reading Complete...
0x4 0x0004 Auxiliary input fuse defective.
0xAA 0x00AA Driver door mirror horizontal motor: open circuit.
Anti-Lock Brake System Fault Reading Complete...
0x5A 0x005A Temporary system deactivation.
and a Can Bus error on the air suspension but that clears once the car has been driven
