Finally gave up with the computer system on the EAS. The only leak (tiny) I could find was where the two blocks meet up ie where the Pressure switch is. I think my block had warped and wouldn't meet up properly.
I stripped the block out, ditched the compressor, and gave a quick salute for the years gone by.
I popped down to the local tyre centre and picked up 4 tyre non return valves.(the staff normally have a heap of these so you can get them for nothing). Then I took these down to my local fluid/hose company and got them to mill a 6mm push in fitting to each of the 4 tyre valves as they are an obsure thread) and pressure check them. Job done in exchange for a few beers!!!.
I then purchased a $20 cigarette lighter style compressor and pumped the bags up to approx 790mm off the road (normal riding height).
Now my EAS selector shows I am in Normal height and hopefully when I see the dreaded flashing I will just pump the old gal up again!!. Hopefully after 6 months or so I have seen on the internet after researching.
Now I don't have to worry about Height sensors, blocks, Compressors, pressure switches or the EAS driver crapping out, just the Airlines and the airbags.
I mean how many people really use the high and access settings???!!!!!!.
This method should also prolong the airbags (no re-adjusting overnight or when someone farts next to the old Rangee).
