thats right... just over 6 years ago I passed my driving test and hearing the trailer test changes to 2 stages in januarty I decided I best get it done so I struck a deal with my old driving instructor up for trailer (B+E) training as he wants to get into it and he's taking me out for an assessment without the trailer friday, wonder how many bad habits I've picked up/what i've forgot ya meant to do for a test... anyone else had to do the similar?

Once that'd under my belt I'll get getting my bike test under my belt as that changes january too!

I've never quite understood the trailer rules, when they say the trailer is over 750kg, do they mean loaded or unloaded?

It also makes me chortle a bit that they are making it harder and harder for new drivers to get a licence but still come out with the same "new drivers are a risk to all road users" crap when the majority of people who spew that BS passed in the days when you just had to whip a horse in the correct manner.

they been talking about categorising the power limits on a bike test for a while now... bit peeved they're actually doing it - not like they'll do it for cars, a 17 year old chavvy can still jump into a 2litre nova and do more damage than a 21yr old can on a gsx-r1000 - depends on the driver really!

750kg is mam... maximum allowed mass so doesn't matter if its fully loaded of empty
