If it is really cold a good set of winter tyres make a hell of a differance. Have two sets of tyres for wifes audi quattro winter ones are way better in cold weather.

just one warning about chains, if you never used them before make sure you put them on properly nice and tight or you will feck your tyers up.

Does an AT count as a winter tyre, or are we talking about a different compound? Also the snow chains say "Do not fit with ATs or mud tyres", so i guess your screwed if you got off road tyres then.

I would say not our winter tyres are marked with M+S AND A SNOWFLAKE . It is recommended that winter tyres are run at temperatures less than 7 degrees.

if you are in the alps, which by its very nature is a snowy cold mountainous place used/famed primarily for skiing and snow related sports, would it be wise to fit skiis.

or am i being a dumbass!!!

or even better get one of thos piste basher chassis and plonk the p38 shell on it, that'd be cool!!
